One of our SAC member sent him for taking admission in our Town Schools Kanpur Dehat center because he (SAC member) knows him very well he told us his real story that Lal Singh’s father is very old and always remain ill. His mother was too old and was not able to do daily household works finally they did marriage of their elder son Lal Singh only in age of 17yrs. He was immature and was job less now he had a responsibility of three own children and four younger brothers. The condition of his home was very pity and for meeting his daily meal and requirements he had to do laborer job on daily wages. |

Suman Gautam belongs to Akbarpur. She is pursuing post- Graduation now. Earlier she belongs to a very prosperous family as her father was a property dealer, everything was going well meanwhile her father had been cheated by his business partners he had to face a huge loss and gradually his living standard began to decrease, he was under debt as he had borrowed so much money for re-stating his business but he failed from everywhere, he became a mental-patient and every of his family member had to suffer a lot. Suman is 4th daughter of her parents as she has 3 elder sisters who got married. Her study had been stopped due to bad condition of her family. Then she ensured her father that she would become her son and tries to reform her family’s condition. She had heard about Town schools that jobs have been provided there after a training programme. She took admission in our school having a hope that she would do something for her family and re-start her further studies. During training she was very punctual and sincere. |

This is the case study of Priyanka Devi who belongs to village Badapur. Her Qualification is intermediate. Her father is a Shepherd and having more than 40 sheep. Priyanka also used to graze sheep all the time and in her village, girls are married at a very early age. There is a custom that girls cannot take higher education and cannot move for job. Her father is preparing for her marriage. One day when she was grazing sheep with her father our mobilizer met with them and told them about our project and approached her father to let her daughter make her career so that she can become self-dependent. He told us that his society members won’t permit him to let his daughter study and move for job. we went to her village and tried our level best to convince her villagers. |

Goldee Kamal, 20 yrs 12th passed girl habitant of Akbarpur Kanpur Dehat. She is the eldest child of her family, her mother passed away when she was very small, her father is in a private job and not earning enough to manage all the expanses of his family as Goldee’s education was also getting effected she was not able to proceed her study in a proper way in lack of money. During counseling she told us that she wanted to get higher education but due to financial problem she won’t be able. She came to know about “Town Schools” through some buddy that after some training programmes one can get job, that increased her hopes and she came to us for enquiry. After knowing her present condition we encouraged her that she can fulfill her all desires if she wants. |

After death of her husband she was often humiliated by her in- laws. she has responsibility of her 3 children. She used to feel very insecure about her and her children’s future. Her In laws were not supporting her at all and having a concern that she is the reason of her husband’s death. She was very fed up of all this and suddenly she came to know about “Town Schools” through our Mobilizer. She came to our center and told her problems as her family members won’t allow her for job. we insured her that we will definitely do something for her, We met her family members and convinced them that they should support her daughter in –law to making her life secure so that in future she would be able to stand on her feet. | |

Amit Kumar belongs to Rampura, Akbarpur. Earlier he was a sportsman (weightlifter) and practicing for the same and used to participate in college level competition. An incident occurred with him and he got fracture on his leg because of an accident. Doctors told him that he cannot continue with his weight-lifting. He could not bear this and disappointed a lot, afterwards he got depressed and occupied in some bad activities, started having alcohol and other smoking contents. His father was very worried about his career and life. He came to us and told about his situation, we told him to send his son ‘we will try our level best to provide him a better platform. We talked to Amit and assured him that he can start making his career in different ways by choosing any other field. Further he took admission in Town schools. We kept on motivating him during our training programme. Finally he selected in “Walsons Services Pvt. Ltd.” |

Sunil is a habitant of Village Gaur, Pukhrayan. His father and mother both are laborer and hardly managing for livings. He has four sisters one of them is married, and her In-Laws were asking for more Dowries so because of this Sunil’s parents were so much worried. Sunil was also very much disappointed, left his studies and started working with his parents as laborer. One day during lunch time he was sitting at Ajay tea stall nearby our center. Ajay suggested him to meet with us as we can help him for earning livelihood differently. He came to us and after knowing his story we have given him admission in Town Schools. His parents also met with us and told us that they didn’t want his son to work as labor but they are compelled because they have three more daughters for marriage. |

Ajay indulged in so many bad activities so his father was very much worried about his future Ajay is elder son out of his 6 children and left his studies after 12th. When his father heard about Town School programme he sent his son forcefully firstly Ajay denied to come at our center but during our induction programme he enjoyed games and activities very much. Motivational classes changed his way of living and within one month Ajay was very much serious about his future and want to do job. |

Amit Katiyar belongs to Bhanpura village, his father is a farmer he is staying with his four sibling he is elder one and has great responsibilities he was not enough educated but he completed his education B.Sc. and computer ‘O’ level course, from his own earning from tuitions. After that he started for searching job but due to lack of proper guidance he wasted so many amounts on consultancies in job searching. Then he came to our center as he got information about our project named Town Schools. He told us about poor condition of his family, and about his curiousness in study but due to financial problem he was unable to get higher education, for this he wanted to do job so we gave him admission in Town Schools. He had a great enthusiasm of leaning and he always been a performer in class. |

In her family, they are 05 brothers & sisters. She came across to the Town School while roaming in Laksar with a purpose for filling up a job form. She could know the objectives & motto of the Centre and thought that might it be a positive ray of hope in her sad and gloomy life. At first, she was frightened, thinking that she would have to deposit a fee for taking admission in the Centre, but when she read the banners and pamphlets and could know the objective of the Centre, she took a sigh of relief. With a great devotion and dedication she learned everything, she was much influenced by attending the personality grooming classes. |
